Introduction
Hinges allow portions of projects to articulate, swivel, or swing.
Challenges
Precise alignment if hinges is required for proper function.
Approaches
Frames provide precise alignment and hole placement. Bolts provide a pin around which to rotate. Axial bearings, and thrust bearings facilitate smooth and we'll supported rotation, washers reduce damage to frames, shaft collars and nuts secure assemblies in place.
