Many people worldwide wash clothes manually, but the detergents are chemically harmful, and the repetitive motion of scrubbing is straining to the muscles and joints.
Solution
Design an inexpensive and durable washing machine for use in rural areas or off grid to gently wash clothes. Pedal and solar electric power should be possible.
