Whiteboards are analogous to blackboards, but with a smoother surface allowing rapid marking and erasing of markings on their surface. The popularity of whiteboards increased rapidly in the mid-1990s and they have become a fixture in many offices, meeting rooms, school classrooms, and other work environments. ==== Challenges ==== ==== Approaches ==== ==== References ==== * [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whiteboard|Wikipedia: Whiteboard]] ---- [[https://github.com/timschmidt/replimat/blob/e0bc0b855bb946bab00c75ca0d8b002ae0dc0172/wiki/sign_boards.html|Original archived page]] — revision 9019, 2021-10-23T18:00:00+00:00, by Tim.
