They have legs, typically two or three which circle around the back or inside of a part and they also have a forcing screw which centers up against the end of a shaft. The screw applies force to make removal simple and with little effort from the user. ==== Challenges ==== ==== Approaches ==== {{:archive:pxl_20210514_225708006.jpg?600|1 inch frame gear puller}} {{:archive:pxl_20210514_225738546.jpg?600|1 inch frame gear puller}} {{:archive:pxl_20210514_225810206.jpg?600|1.5 inch frame gear puller}} {{:archive:pxl_20210514_225821342.jpg?600|1.5 inch frame gear puller}} ==== References ==== * [[https://tengtoolsusa.com/blogs/news/what-are-pullers-used-for|What are pullers used for?]] ---- [[https://github.com/timschmidt/replimat/blob/e0bc0b855bb946bab00c75ca0d8b002ae0dc0172/wiki/gear_pullers.html|Original archived page]] — revision 7974, 2021-09-23T08:32:32+00:00, by Tim.
